COOLANGATTA/QLD (7th November, 2014): Australia’s new weekly surfing television show mySURF.tv will premiere on ONE this Sunday (November 9) at 4pm.
To be hosted by Joel Hurrey of Domestic Blitz fame and leading Australian female pro-junior surfer Ellie-Jean Coffey, the 12-part series will showcase the best surfing footage and profiles from Australia and around the globe.
Produced by Surfing Australia, the program is an extension of our new digital content website www.mySURF.tv launched last December.
The weekly show will feature a massive array of stories from profiles, lifestyle and rare archival and exclusive footage. mySURF.tv joins the world’s best surfers in Tahiti, Indonesia, Europe, Hawaii and all corners of Australia.
“The series is rich in story telling as well as amazing visuals produced by surfers but with a broad appeal while still respecting our sport’s core,” said series Director Jason Muir. & ldquo;We are stoked to be part of this project.
“Our key cinematographers are Lachlan McKinnon, Nimai Strickland and Matt Baker plus with we have access to some of the world’s best surf cameramen ensuring the series has amazing visuals and new angles from land, water and the air.”
Sunday’s first episode will include stories with three-time World Champion Mick Fanning, Morning of the Earth creator Alby Falzon and legendary surfboard shaper Mitchell Rae, Aussie ASP World Championship Tour rookie Nikki Van Dijk and West Australian young gun Jack Robinson.
