On April 29th and 30th an ISA Level 1 Flatwater SUP Instructor Course was successfully carried out in Fortaleza, Brazil. The course, which was taught by Official ISA Course Presenter Roberto Moretto and Technical Director Paul Vasco, certified 9 participants to instruct Flatwater SUP courses in Brazil. The technical training portion of the course was carried out at the Colosso Lake Lounge and the theoretical section was carried out at Ceara State University.

ISA Flatwater SUP instructor courses launched in Brazil in March of 2015 and have been growing to meet the demand to train SUP instructors in the country.

ISA Educational Courses present the proper development pathway in the sports of SUP and Surfing. The ISA is recognized the the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the sole International Federation for the sport of Surfing, SUP, and all other wave riding activities. All of the Brazilian participants in the SUP Flat Water Course received ISA Certifications to teach SUP.
