Innovation center of the Russian Olympic Committee Hosts ISA Surf Level 1 Course

From June 23-24 the Innovation Center of the Russian Olympic Committee hosted an ISA Surf Level 1 Course in the nation’s capital of Moscow.

Instructors traveled from all around the country to participate in the course, displaying the wide range of opportunities that Russia has to practice the sport. Participants from Saint Petersburg, the Black Sea, and even as far as Kamchatka on Russia’s east coast were present for the course.

The course was put on by the Russian Surfing Federation and presented by the federation’s President, Sergey Rasshivaev. Rasshivaev called the course a success, as nine Russian surf instructors were provided with the skills and knowledge to properly and safely teach Surfing in the country.

As the international federation, recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), for the sport of Surfing, SUP, and all other wave riding activities, the ISA proudly presents the proper development pathway for Educational Programs in the sport of Surfing and SUP.
