The International Surfing Association (ISA) is pleased to announce the Surfing Solidarity Fund to support our members that have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The novel Coronavirus, COVID-19, is affecting the global surfing community with unprecedented challenges. The ISA recognizes the acts of kindness, leadership, and care from the global surfing community to support those most in need during this global crisis.
In an effort to stand by our mission and promote A Better World Through Surfing, the ISA has created the Surfing Solidarity Fund to support our members facing serious challenges caused by the pandemic.
ISA-recognized National Federations may apply for the Surfing Solidarity Fund for projects up to $5,000 that support their athletes or surfing communities across the following areas:
- Provision of essential items such as food or medical supplies
- Community upliftment programs
- Severe loss of income by athlete or community member
- 2020 ISA Membership Fee Forgiveness
Priority for solidarity funding will be given to developing nations and those with the greatest need.
