South Africa celebrates the Extreme Abilities Adapted Surfing Day

This past Sunday’s Extreme Abilities Adapted Surfing Day was not only a chance for 47 disabled Capetonians to experience the ‘stoke’ surfing gives to millions of surfers across the globe. It was also a chance for many of Cape Town’s able-bodied surfers to be humbled and thankful that they get to experience these joys without assistance.

And they showed up in force to lend a helping hand to the 47 surf-hungry participants who’d signed up for surfing lessons.
