The ISA hosted two key informational meetings at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel and at the home of ISA President Fernando Aguerre in La Jolla, California, to update the surf industry, friends of the Aguerre brothers, and Founding Members Friends of Olympic Surfing on the progress of the ISA’s efforts for the inclusion of Surfing in the Olympic Games. As part of its progress, the ISA now has 77 countries as member nations, and expects to reach over 100 members by the end of 2014. Fernando continues to advocate for Surfing to become an Olympic sport as part ISA’s overall mission to develop surfing globally, making the sport universally accessible to all.
