The ISA Level 1 Instructor Course in Sardinia was a success with nine local participants. The course was held at Capo Camp on the beach in front of the surf spot Capo Mannu. Known to most Italians as, “The Mediterranean’s Hawaii”, Capo Mannu is by far the most consistent surf spot in Italy, producing waves up to 10 feet.
This area has plenty of other surf spots and when the mistral wind blows, they are all firing, attracting hundreds of surfers from all over the world. As expected, 80% of participants were local surfers and the 1,700 square meter structure of Capo Camp, located just 20 steps from the beach, was the perfect location for this Level 1 Instructor Course.
The next ISA Course in Italy will be the SUP Flat Water, and will be held in Forte dei Marmi on 23-24 may, 2015.
