Meet Eric Dargent, a surfer and family man from Reunion Island. February 19th, 2011 was a day like any other for Eric, spending the day at the beach with his family. Towards the end of a 2-hour surf session, Eric was suddenly attacked by a shark. Thanks to the quick action of other surfers in the water, his life was saved, however his left leg had to be amputated mid-thigh. Having come to close to death, Eric has made it his mission to live life to the fullest, which is shown by his inclusion on Team France for the 2015 ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championship Presented by Challenged Athletes Foundation, Hurley, Stance and the City of San Diego.
