Rip Curl Grom Search in Freshwater West, Wales: POSTPONED

Posted - News Posted for Great Britain News, Wales News, World Surfing News.

After the relentless swells of the winter it was inevitable that when we needed them most this summer, the waves would be hard to find.

The forecast for Pembroke’s Freshwater West beach this weekend is showing incontestable waves with the current prediction of 1ft onshore wind chop swell, and on this basis the contest organisers at Surfing GB and The Welsh Surfing Federation have taken the decision to postpone the event. The event is now scheduled to take place in 2 weekend’s time on July 26th-27th.

All current entries are automatically kept in the draw for the event, however if you are unavailable for the event and would like to withdraw we can refund your entry or transfer your finances to another SGB operated event (please email nick@surfinggb.com to claim this). We will get a running order and draw out closer to the time.

Note: Entry is closed for next weekend’s rescheduled Rip Curl Grom Search in Croyde.

Please email nick@surfinggb.com with any event questions.
