From January 7 to 14, China will become the international surfing capital with the world's top surfers competing in the Hainan Riyue Bay International Surfing Festival Presented by Quiksilver.

The ISA's top 8 surfing nations, based on the results of the 2011 World Surfing Games, will contend in the ISA China Cup, featuring the National Teams from each country. Following the ISA China Cup will be the Hainan Classic, an ASP Men's 4-Star contest, with the top professional surfers in a World Tour competition.
