The Women’s turn in the Petrobras Women’s Surf Tour

Rio de Janeiro will be the destination for the closing of the sixth Petrobras Women’s Surf Tour.  The contest will take place from October 26th – 28th in the waves of Arpoador.  The first day will be reserved for the professionals, while the amateurs will have to wait until the second day to enter the action.

On Saturday the smaller categories will enter the water, as will the Junior and Open categories.  Around 1 PM a parade will take place, displaying the evolution of surfwear throughout the years.

Sunday the 28th will be reserved for the definition of the Women’s Professional Surfing of Brazil and by 2 PM the name of the new champion will be known.
