Denny Irish National Junior Surfing Championships

Hundreds of young surfers from the four corners of Ireland are expected in Rossnowlagh, Co Donegal next weekend (25/26 August) for the Denny Irish National Junior Surfing Championships. Twelve Irish titles will be awarded at the event that is considered the highlight of the year by many young surfers.

Both male and female surfers will be competing in three disciplines (surf, bodyboard and longboard) in age categories from under twelve to under eighteen with an expression session rather than competition for surfers under ten. All will be taking time out of the water to enjoy the Denny beach barbecue at lunch time on Saturday.

The event to be hosted by the Irish Surfing Association in conjunction with Rossnowlagh Surf Club is supported by Denny, Portwest, VANS, Wind and Wave and Seabase.
 
Entries taken at Rossnowlagh Surf Club from 9-930am on Saturday morning. ISA MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED. €10 per category.
