El Toro is still waiting to be tamed

The waiting period for the Chile International Tow – In Surfing Championship 2007 continues to September the 1st  because the conditions of the waves have not yet been appropriate for the competitors to start the action.

The event will be supervised by the Association of Professional Towsurfers (APT) and flaunts a U$S 25,000.00 prize purse. The organizers have planned to make the call 96 hours before the storm hits Iquique with an expected 35 foot face waves. According to the weather forecast next weekend the suitable conditions for the competition to start will take place.
