For the last 15 years the so-called extreme sports have come to be very important for new generations. Away from the office and rigid time oriented lifestyle, these “new athletes” have been exploring a new universe full of boards, bikes, mountains and open skies. Extreme sports have never had the chance to share their experiences that way since surf landed in Argentina more than 40 years ago. Nor have they had the chance to gather together the different industries related to them. XPOX was the first summit that was able to put together all these tribes. XPOX was born in the successful ASR (Action Sport Retail), an exposition that is organized twice a year in the United States. There, the expositors present the autumn-winter and the spring-summer collections respectively. XPOX aims at gathering the world leader brands, retailers, sportive associations, schools, riders and athletes, sponsors and specialized media. XPOX is addressed to wholesalers and retailers from all over the country, who could see the market trends, find new products, relate with other business men, know the leader brands and the innovative ones, and they could also do their shopping in just one place and at the same time, saving time and money. XPOX S08 will take place from August 24th to 26th in Costa Salguero (Buenos Aires). That will be the first time Outdoor sports will assist the bigger Argentine extreme sports exposition. XPOX will be screening the last movies produced for the extreme sports audience like in previous editions. Surf, Skate, Bike, Wakeboard, Windsurf and some other sports will have their place in the official XPOX screen. There will be also a runway show of some of the brands.
