A message full of good vibes from the President of the Surfing Association of Trinidad and Tobago
Justin Tang winner of the Battery Energy Drink National Surfing Championships 2007

By Keith Lewis – Surfing Association of Trinidad and Tobago www.surfingtt.org

I would like to thank and congratulate the committee of the SATT –Surfing Association of Trinidad and Tobago- who worked tirelessly to make this event such a success. The dedicated judges who toiled through long hours with consistency and diligence, a truly stellar job!
Tabulators, Beach Marshals, Flag men, Volunteers and the DJ: Thank you!

All the surfers: The Participation level was excellent and the enthusiasm was high, as was the quality of surfing!

This was the first nationals in 10 years and it will go down in T&T surfing history as an outstanding event.

All finalists in all division remember this, very few surfers have such trophies on their shelves, and even fewer have a right to say they were/are NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
We look forward to next year!

Attention! The real big news is this: We have a new SATT ranking leader on the board and the table has now completely opened up!
Congratulation Bryan Joseph – You are now on top (a position I am sure you like!)!

The Top six positions on the board are separated by just 475 points! This means it is open to anyone to dominate, make the National Team and become the 2007 Surfer of the Year ... with only two trials left (August and October).
