In a great interview, Ángelo talked about different aspects of his career with Raiana Monteiro from Woohoo, the Brazilian extreme sports channel. The Mexican said that his trip to Brazil was great for his career.
The surfer from Puerto Escondido, Mexico, Ángelo Lozano spent June and half of July in Brazil. He went there to compete in the Rio Latin Pro Surf that took place in Prainha. He was really satisfied with the experience on Bossa nova’s land, training a lot in waves that are similar to the ones on the WQS Tour.
Born on January the 27th, 1987, Ángelo Lozano is a representative of the new generation of Hispanic American Surfers that is beginning to be noted on an international level. He’s young but considered an experienced competitor with great professionalism. The fact that extreme sports channel Woohoo paid attention to him is proof of that.
He was interviewed by Raiana Monteiro, sister of the Brazilian star Raoni Monteiro, and the Mexican surfer talked about different aspects of his career.
“It was quite rewarding being interviewed by the people of Woohoo who have paid attention to my visit to their country. During the interview, we talked, among other things, about my present, my roots in surfing, my anticipated staying in Brazil and the interest I have on having my website on line.”
Now, back at home, Ángelo will keep training to be prepared for the upcoming ALAS tour events, WQS and Pro Junior (ALAS/ASP).
