GUIPUZCOA WILL HAVE AN ARTIFICIAL WAVES GENEATOR TO SURF EVERYDAY!

Guipuzcoa will have an artificial tube integrated into a Relax Center in 2008. The Center will occupy an approximate 2.000 m² surface. The exact location for the Center to be built is yet to be defined. Tolosa and Zarautz are the districts that have the best chance of being chosen for this project. This wave project is currently the only one in Europe and reflects only two others in the world: one in San Diego, USA and another in Durban, South Africa. Four water bombs generate an unstoppable series of perfect tubes in a 400 m² pool. The waves are two and a half meters high. The project is now in an advanced stage and what seems so unreal, would be a reality in a short period of time.
