The European Team Championship or 2009 EUROSURFING held in Jersey has ended. The National Spanish team fought for the medals against the two strong French and Portuguese teams to the very last minute. Spain had representatives competing for the gold in all the finals with the exception of the Longboard category.

In addition, a whopping six medals were obtained by two European champions, Lucas Garcia (Surf Senior) and Dani Garcia (Surf Master). Also worth noting is the silver medal obtained by Mario Azurza in a tough final for the Open Surf category.
