Best world under 16 surfers will get together from Friday 6th of July until Tuesday the 10th at Lennox-Ballina, New South Wales to compete in the biggest contest for grommets around the world, the Rusty Gromfest. A contest that this year celebrates it 12 edition, and takes pride in contributing to the professional surfing career of our future World Champions.

This is your chance to follow in the footsteps of some of our past winners such as – Mick Fanning, Julian Wilson, Steph Gilmore, Jessie Miley-Dyer and Bede Durbridge.

This year the field will be typical of every year at the Rusty Gromfest. The very best of our young Australian Surfers together with a huge International contingent from Peru, United States, Samoa, South Africa and New Zealand will be competing for Gromfest glory. These kids are itching to showcase their talent in front of the National Media, International Surf Industry Scouts and a crowd of thousands.
