Ecuador ready for the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships

The Ecuadorian Surfing Federation announced the team that will represent Ecuador in the fifth edition of the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships which will take place in Costa de Caparica, Portugal, from May the 4th to May the 13th.

Ecuador is not going with a complete team. The Ecuadorian team includes:

Under 18 Boys
Israel Barona
Diego Vargas
David Villarroel

Under 16 Boys
David Villarroel
Bastien Hurtado
Jaime Pazmino

Under 18 Ladies
María Beatriz Aguirre
Ilianita Aguirre
Dominic Barona

Ecuador competed in the last three Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships, obtaining the 19th position in Tahiti 2004, the 16th place in Huntington 2005 and a 13th in Brasil last year.
