Cascais Sports Gala honors Catarina Sousa, Patrícia Lopes, Miguel Ruivo and Pedro Barbudo

Bodyboarder Catarina Sousa (Quinta dos Lombos Recreational and Cultural Center and 2008 national vice-champion), and surfers of the Portuguese Surfing Club, Miguel Ruivo (2008 National Longboard champion) and Patricia Lopes (2008 National Surf vice-champion), together with Pedro Barbudo (European Champion with the National Senior Team and member of the Guincho Surfing Nucleus), were distinguished during the Sports Gala organized by the Cascais Council and that took place on January 25 in the Casino of Estoril.

Following the prizes honoring the best athletes of the year in the most diverse categories, in which the award attributed to the Best Trainers of 2008, David Raimundo and Nuno Telmo stands out, the Cascais City Council did not want to miss the opportunity of distinguishing other sport personalities that obtained national and international recognition throughout 2008.
