URUGUAYAN JUDGES RECEIVE LEVEL 1 & 2 ACCREDITATIONS

In the month of December, the Uruguayan Surf Union was in charge of organizing a course for international judges, administered by ISA Judge Jordão Bailo who taught 15 local judges all the necessary tools to work with the existing and most updated judging techniques.

Bailo was warmly welcomed to Uruguay and loved participating in the country’s surfing evolution.  The course was carried out at the Foment League of Maldonado, institution that happily backed the initiative.

Now, thanks to this course, Uruguayan surfers will be able to enjoy a better judging level at all competitions.

It is necessary to mention that the referred course was possible due to the cooperation and tireless voluntary work by one of the two professional Uruguayan surfers, Luis Maria Iturria, who unselfishly produced the classes for judges.
