The Defending Champion announces National Team

country of the last Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships,
Australia, has announced the team that will be defending the Gold in the
biggest junior contest of the year that will take place at Costa de
Caparica, Portugal –May 4-13-.

Australia has the record of victories and medals in the history of the
Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships. Aussies won the 2004
and 2006 Championships, in 2003 they placed second and in 2005 they
placed fourth. Aussies have won eight Gold Medals, four Silvers, three
Bronzes and three Coppers.
