Salgado takes revenge

<sup>The second stage of the Panamanian Soberana Surfing Tour was held on Santa Catalina’s classic waves on March 17 - 18, 2007. Local boy, Diego Salgado won a tight final heat, against Alejandro Alfonso – second, Gary Saavedra – third, and Ricardo Alfaro – fourth.

As a result, the classic duel between Diego Salgado and Gary Saavedra came back into life in another edition of the Panamanian Soberana Surfing Tour.

Based on these results, the Panamanian National Team for the Second Annual Central America Surfing Championship was announced.

The team includes: Gary Saavedra, Alejandro Alfonso, Diego Salgado, Omar Figueroa, David Godoy, Piler López, Kenny Díaz, Gonzalo González, Samanta Alonso and Nicole Pérez, who placed second in the contest held at La Empalizada Beach, Guatemala, from March 30th to April 1st.</sup>
