CYCLONE SURF HITS MOZAMBIQUE

South Africa's northern neighbor has long been famous for perfect, yet
fickle surf (and loads of sharks). When March 18th cyclone bashed into
Durban, an elite crew, including big-wave charger Jason Ribbink and
World Tour surfer Travis Logie among others, made their way north to
catch Mozambique best pointbreak, they scored.
The group was headed up by big-wave surfer Jason Ribbink and World Tour
surfer Travis Logie, and included South African WQS rippers Keegan Nel,
Brandon Jackson, Durban standout Greg Lazarus and Quiksilver team
manager Dane Patterson.
The morning of the 18th saw eight-foot surf, which built steadily all
day as cyclone surf went mental on the Durban beachfront. By afternoon
the crew were enjoying sunshine, light winds and something that
resembled 12-foot J-Bay, stoked they made the trip
