Chile is going to the Juniors

The Chilean Surfing Federation has announced the list of surfers who will be representing their country in the sixth edition of the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship, the only global tournament for under 18 surfers that will be held from May 24 until June 1 in the waves of Le Penon Page, Seignosse, France.

The following surfers will be fighting for the Chilean flag in the French beachbreaks:

Chile´s Surfing Team for this year Quiksilver ISA WJSC is incomplete. Nevertheless, be careful and watch closely this group of young rippers. In the last few years, surfing in this South American nation is growing fast and with a great quality of unique surfers who rip in big 20 foot pointbreak waves and one foot beach break conditions.

We´ll see what happen in a couple of days in France.

About International Surfing Association
The International Surfing Association (ISA) is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the World Governing Authority for surfing, bodyboarding and surfriding. It was originally founded as the International Surfing Federation in 1964 and has been running world championships since 1964 and the Junior World Championships since 1980. 

ISA membership includes the surfing National Governing Bodies (NGBs) of over 50 countries on six continents. Its headquarters are located in San Diego, California. It is presided by Fernando Aguerre, first elected in 1994 in Rio, and re-elected six times since.  The ISA's four Vice Presidents are Alan Atkins (Australia), Robin de Kock (South Africa), Maile Aguerre (Hawaii) and Mike Gerard (USA).
