Argentina travels to France with full team
A full team of Argentinean juniors will travel to France this year to compete in the largest surfing tournament for under 18 boys and girls in the planet, the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship, that will be held from May 24 until June 1 in Le Penon Plage, Seignosse.
After poor participation in the 2007 edition of the Juniors in Portugal, where Argentina placed 21st competing with an incomplete team, the “Albiceleste” is back in form with a full team that includes:
Under 18 Boys
Mariano Arreyes
Marco Herrera
Nehuen Adamo
Juanchi Arca
Under 16 Boys
Martin Carricart
Brian Masmut
Giuliano Arreyes
Pedro Francistegui
Under 18 Girls

Argentina participated in all the previous editions of the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship, reaching their best position in 2003, placing 7th. They went down on the ratings after that with a 18th in 2004, a 13th in 2005, a 16th in 2006 and a 21st last year.
This year, with a strong team in hand, Argentineans are focused to climb high on the ratings.
