Diego Medina wins the Adrenalin Masters

On Saturday, December 15 the last stage of the “3 Adrenalin Masters” event finished. The championship had been planned to last three days and it gathered the best Chilean surfers.

The event started on Thursday with some waves next to Punta de Lobos. The Ladies division was first, the Open Professional division was next with more than 24 surfers. Saturday morning was the time for Junior division because of the low tide.
By the afternoon and with high tide was professionals’ turn.

It was a tough competition with high performances from all the competitors. Surfers from different parts of the country participated in it and there were $1.000.000 Chilean Pesos in cash for the winners and Adrenalin, Samsung and Xcel products.

As the days went by, 6 out of the 24 professional surfers made it to the semifinals (with 3 athletes into the water in each one). The final took place at around four in the afternoon when 4 riders fought for a place in the podium. The conditions were excellent with 2 to 4 meters’ waves and perfect tubes.
