The Panamanian surf team placed 12th in the Pan American Games

The Panamanian surf team achieved 12th place in the final ranking of the 8th Pan American Surfing Games, but despite their efforts did not do as well as previous performances.
Alejandro “Cholo” Alfonso put forward the strongest performance. 

He assured himself 17th place in the Open category after battling several great rounds in Punta 1 and Urracas.

In the women´s arena, Enilda Alsonso finished in 13th place and gained a total of 450 points for Panama.
