France announces National Team for the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championship

The French Surfing Federation has announced the names of the surfers that will represent France at the upcoming Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships –WJSC- that will take place at Costa de Caparica, Portugal May 4-13.

The French team had an outstanding performance in the past WJSC, held in Brazil last year, placing second to Australia with three surfers in each of the three division finals; Marc Larcomare in the Under 16 Boys, Jeremy Flores in the Under 18 Boys and Pauline Ado in the Under 18 Girls. Larcomare and Ado will also be part of this year’s team.

France´s Coach, Former Pro Surfer Didier Pitter, said about the team: "This amazing team was carefully selected to achieve a level of surfing that this kind of competition requires. Among other talents, we have surfers like Pauline Ado and Lee-Ann Curren, Joan Duru, Marc Lacomarre and Pierre Valentine Laborde. All of them are excellent surfers with great sportive capacities.”
