After successfully holding an ISA Flat Water SUP Course earlier in March, the Italian Surfing Federation ran an ISA Surf Level One Instructor Course over the weekend in Forte dei Marmi. The conditions were perfect for the 30 participants in the course, with the fickle Mediterranean providing clean, two foot waves. The Italian Surfing Federation is recognized by the ISA as the National Federation for Surfing and SUP in Italy.

As the international federation, recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the sport of Surfing, SUP, and all other wave riding activities, the ISA proudly presents the proper development pathway for Educational Programs in the sport of Surfing and SUP. Each of these Italian Surf instructors will receive an internationally recognized ISA Surf Level One Instructor Certification, which will allow them to instruct Surfing at the ISA standard of safety and quality.

Alessandro Dini, the official ISA/FISURF course presenter for Italy, was in charge of running the course. To see the full ISA course schedule please view the ISA course schedule here.
