On September 6th and 7th eight Maldivians became certified in the ISA Instructor Level One Course. With help from Atoll Adventures and the Maldives Surfing Association, the course was held at the Artificial Beach in Malé and taught by Official ISA Course Presenter Dara Ahmed and Curran from Atoll Adventures. This year’s attendees were especially impressive because for the first time the participants were all Maldivians including the first two women to become certified through this course. Another exceptional participant included a three-time Maldivian National Surfing Champion.
